SOUTH DAKOTA ELECTRONIC LIEN AND TITLE
South Dakota began working on an Electronic Lien and Title (ELT) Program in the mid to late 2000s. The state no longer generates paper titles as a lien notification for the lienholder. For more information go to South Dakota Division of Motor Vehicles.
